Best Party Songs of the 1990s

One of my favorite eras for music – the 1990s. Featuring a wide range of throwback party songs, with tracks from Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys to Montell Jordan and Smash Mouth, there really is something for all tastes.

That distinctive sound at the start of Jump Around by House Of Pain is a surefire tune to fill the dancefloor, followed up with some classic R ‘n’ B like This Is How We Do It and Return Of The Mack from Mark Morrison.

If you’re looking for some proper party songs, you can’t go wrong with Rednex and Cotton Eye Joe, or I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) by Proclaimers.

And when you’re ready to slow things down a pace, the Backstreet Boys with have you covered with I Want It That Way.
